About Us
Misau College of Health Science and Technology is a private college established by Alhaji Ahamed Yahaya to train professional health care technicians. The College is situated in Misau town of Misau Local Government Area, Bauchi State. The College started full operation in September 2021 following the approvals from Corporate Affairs Commission, Bauchi State Ministry of Health and other regulatory bodies. The College is in formal collaboration with Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Misau General Hospital,
Some of Our Departments
Department of Medical X-Ray
This department offers a three-year diploma programme namely
Diploma in Medical Diagnostic X-Ray Technician
Department of Health Information Management
This department also offers a three-year Professional Diploma in Health Information Management
Department of Medical Laboratory Science
The only porgramme in this department is Medical Laboratory Technicians. It is a three-year diploma programme regulated by Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria.
Admission Requirement
Applicant with the following qualifications may be considered for Admission into the college.
A minimum of 3 credits and 2 passes in the relevant subjects, at not more than two (2) sittings in NECO, WASSCE or its equivalent. The subjects must include;
- Mathematics
- English Language
- Biology or Health Science
- Physics or Chemistry and
- Any other subject
